   So , lets give some intro to this coursework . Its called : Vocabulary Log . Students ar to  learn 5 new words per day . Students must write 1 sentence demonstrating the meaning of each word . If a word has multiple meanings , then students must write 1 sentences for each meaning . This assignment seem very interesting to modern students . I hope this will help me a lot to improve my english language .



# DAY 1

1.  OBLIGATION  -

The state of being force to do something because it is your duty , or because of a law etc

  • She did not feel any obligation to tell him the truth
Something which you must do because you have promised , because of law or etc
  • They reminded him of his contractual obligations
2. BROADCAST

To send out programmes on television or radio 
  • The concert will be broadcast live tomorrow evening 
To tell a lot of people about something 
  • I don't like to broadcast the fact that my father own the company 
3. DEEM

To have a particular opinion about something 
  •  The evening was deem a great success 
4. EXTENUATING 

Showing reason why a wrong or illegal act . or a bad  situation  , should be judge less seriously or excused
  • There were extenuating circumstances and the defendant did not receive a prison sentences . 
5. EXTORT

To make somebody hive you something by threatening them 
  • The gangster extorted money from over 30 local businesses


#DAY 2

1. FRIZZ

To curl very tightly ( of hair ) 
  • This frizz hair makes my moves free and flexible 
2. HAP-TIC

Relating to or involving the sense of touching 
  • Players use a hap-tic device such as a joystick to control the game 

3.INTRUSIVE

Too noticeable , direct , etc in a way of disturbing or annoying 
  • The constant presence of  media was very intrusive
4. INTUIT 

To know that something is true based on your feelings rather than on facts , or what somebody tell you
  • She intuited that something was badly wrong 
5. INTRICACY

The complicated parts or detail of something 
  • Our Prime Minister was discussing about the intricacies of economic policy 
The fact of having the complicated parts , details or pattern
  • The intricacy of the dress's design make it very expensive 


#DAY 3

1. JAUNTY

Showing that you are feeling confident and pleased with yourself
  • She showed her jaunty smile when she was called as The Best Student Of The Year . 
2. JUNK

Things that are considered useless or of a little values
  • I've cleared out all of the old junk in the attic
A Chinese boat with a square sail and a flat bottom 
  • The Chinese men were destroying the junk as it was broke
3. KIP

Sleep
  • Why don't you have a quick kip ?
4. KNACK

A special skill or ability that you have naturally or can learn 
  • It's easy ,  once you've got the knack 
A habit of doing something 
  • She has an unfortunate knack of always saying the wrong things
5.LAD 

A boy or young man 
  • Things have change since I was a lad 
 A friends that a man works with or spends free time with 
  • Azman is going to the pub with the lad 
A lively young man , who have interested in women and having sex , drinks a lot of alcohol etc 
  • Tony was a bit of a lad 


#DAY 4

1. LULLABY

A soft gentle song sung to make the children sleep 
  • Taylor Lautner had sung a lullaby to make Jay sleep
2. LUNATIC 

A person who does crazy things that are often dangerous 
  • This lunatic in a white van pulled out right in front of me !
A person who is severely mentally ill 
  • He is actually a lunatic man 
3. MAUNDER 

To talk or complaint about something in a boring or annoying way 
  • I don't like discussing something with her because she seem to be maunder
4. MEANIE

Used especially by children to describe an unkind person that doesn't give them what they want
  • " Uncle Jo is a meanie man " Said Many 
5. NAY

Used to emphasize something you ave just said by introducing a stronger word or phrase 
  • Such a policy is difficult , nay impossible 


#DAY 5 

1.ODDITY

A person or thing that is strange or unusual 
  • The book deals with some of the oddities grammar and spelling 
The quality of being strange and unusual 
  • She suddenly realized the oddity of her remark and blushed
2. ODIOUS

An unpleasant 
  • What an odious man !
3. OGLE

To look hard at somebody in an offensive way , usually showing sex interesting
  • He was not in the habit of ogling women 
4. PARANOID 

Afraid or suspicious of other people believing that way is not reasonable 
  • She's getting really paranoid about what other people say about her 
Suffering from a mental illness in which you wrongly believe that other people are trying to harm you  or that you are very important .

  • I've seen a paranoid killer 
5. PARAMOUR 

A person that somebody is having a romantic or sexual relationship with
  • That girl is my stunning paramour
